Bwyun

i carried a shard of the sun and it whispered ruin

the mirror shows a person i remember renting once

i left my body on the chair while i went to answer the rain

the streetlight blinking in a pattern that might be spelling something

i said no several times the word slid off the floor and hid somewhere damp

i carried a shard of the sun and it whispered ruin

the mirror shows a person i remember renting once

i left my body on the chair while i went to answer the rain

i said no several times the word slid off the floor and hid somewhere damp

the streetlight blinking in a pattern that might be spelling something

my hands kept repeating the same little motion against the table while the clouds above the town stretched slowly into strange shapes

i drank from a cracked canteen and tasted yesterday

there is a warmth that arrives suddenly and burns the furniture of my mood
